Ask the Previous Player, Then Live With It

A teen patti side show is a paid request between two players who have both looked, almost always you and the person who acted just before you. The loser folds. Everyone else stays in the dark about both holdings. A neighbour who is still face down cannot be pulled in. Real-cash tables are 18+.

Direct answer
Two face-up hands compared while a third hand stays face down

You are third to speak. You looked last orbit and hold queen of hearts, jack of hearts, and a nine of clubs. Two hearts and a club are not colour. Two other people are still paying to stay, so you want one quiet answer about one opponent, not a full reveal.

People mix the request up with the show that ends the deal. The show waits until two players remain, then opens both hands for the pot. A teen patti side show can happen while three or more are still in. It removes one player. It does not end the deal. Memorise that split before you tap the button. The timer will not pause while you guess.

Who is allowed to ask

Who is allowed to ask

Both of you have to have looked. Face down, you cannot send the request, and nobody can drag your unseen holding into a private fight. Looking is a one-way door. You pay the seen price after that, and you become eligible. The blind and seen page is the price chart.

The usual target is the previous active player. Active means still in the deal. Previous means the last person who still had a choice as the action came toward you. If the seat on your right has folded, look further back. A seat that has left is not a target.

A teen patti side show aimed at anyone else is a house question. Plenty of tiles allow only the previous active player. If the tile and this page disagree, the tile wins. This is an independent guide, not the publisher, not a casino, and not a desk that can return chips.

Face-down neighbour is off

Why a face-down neighbour is off limits

A blind previous player cannot be pulled into it. They are on the cheaper price because they have not looked. The button should refuse. If a build lets the request through, leave on your next turn and read the tile before you post again.

Only a seen player may be asked. You have the same protection while you stay face down, and you lose it the moment you look. On most tables looking also doubles what you pay to stay. Wait until a face-down neighbour looks, or let the deal run. Do not badger them in chat to flip early.

You pay

What you pay, and who leaves

The request costs money. Rooms often charge the current seen call, sometimes a fixed extra. Read the number before you confirm. You do not get it back if you win. It is the price of the question. Hold the button until you have read that number. A wrong tap spends the price even when you meant to fold.

The loser of a teen patti side show folds at once. What they already put in stays in the middle. The winner stays in, ranks still hidden, and pays the ordinary price on the next turn.

The rest of the table learns a name, not a hand. They do not see a pair of kings or a ragged king-high. Talking through the ranks gives the secret away.

  1. Look first. Face down, you cannot send the request, and you cannot be the target.
  2. Name the previous active player. Skip anyone who has already folded. They must have looked too.
  3. Read the price. Confirm only when that number is a question you can afford to lose.
  4. Take the result. The loser leaves. Everyone else still cannot see the ranks. Run in that order, a teen patti side show stays a private question.
Private request is not the show

The private request is not the show

When two players remain, either of them can pay for a full comparison. That ending show judges both holdings, the better hand takes the middle, and the deal is over. A teen patti side show is a side door while the pot is still crowded. It answers one matchup. It leaves the other players untouched and unpaid-for.

You cannot use the private request to dodge the ending show once only two of you are left. Pay for the show, or fold and wait.

Friends sometimes say side show teen patti and mean this same button. The word order changes. The loser does not. The parent teen patti rules still decide the ladder: trail, then pure sequence, then sequence, then colour, then pair, then high card. A pair of aces loses to any colour. A colour loses to any sequence. Ace is high except in ace-two-three. Suits do not split a classic tie. Read the house card before you argue.

One deal

One deal, with the button in front of you

Five players posted the opening stake. You have looked and hold ace of spades, ace of hearts, and a four. A pair of aces loses to any sequence or colour still out.

The previous active player has looked. The player before them is face down, so that seat is not your target. You request a teen patti side show against the previous active player, pay the figure on the button, and win. That player folds. Two face-down players and you remain. You still do not know the folded ranks.

The betting continues because the deal is not over. One face-down player looks, finds king-queen-jack in mixed suits, and raises. A sequence beats your pair. You call or you leave. Leaving on your own turn is a pack. The money you spent on the request stays in either way.

Losing is the other ending. Your pair of aces is dead, the winner's hand stays secret, and you wait for the next deal. From the tap to that fold, you used a teen patti side show.

Request will not do

What the request will not do for you

Winning can make a pair of nines feel larger than it is. You bought one answer, not the pot, and not a way back to the blind price. A teen patti side show under a house nickname follows the help text when that text and a general guide disagree.

Variation rooms move the ground. In Muflis the worst classic hand takes the pot, so a private fight can punish a trail. A joker tile changes what your three ranks mean. The teen patti rules page is the classic ladder. The page on raises and calls is the one to open if the seen price is what keeps costing you.

Still stuck

Questions people ask before they tap

Keep this

Use the button once, then play the rest of the deal

Look before you ask. Ask the previous active player who has also looked. Read the price. If you lose, you leave, and your ranks stay off the felt. If you win, you still have a deal to finish against everyone who did not take part. That is the whole of the teen patti side show. The pot is a later problem.
